Nicolas Garon is a law student at Southern University Law Center (December 2026). He is an independent legal researcher with publications across U.S. visa law, immigration policy, and international human rights. His scholarship has been cited at UNGA80 by a UN Special Rapporteur in a report submitted to all Member States.

At SULC he served as President of the American Constitution Society chapter and as a Staff Writer for the Public Defender Magazine. He holds a B.A. in Political Science (International Politics & Law) from Louisiana State University.

Prior to law school he served for a decade as a fire-line officer in the Sorrento Vol. Fire Department.
